Immersive Lakefront

The landscape master plan for Symphonia Urban Lake Park is envisioned as a dynamic framework that seamlessly blends urban life with the calming presence of the lake. It is designed to create an immersive environment where residents and visitors feel connected to both the water and the vibrant urban fabric surrounding it. The lake becomes the focal point, shaping experiences that are both social and contemplative.

A core principle of the design is environmental sustainability, aiming to enhance the green and blue networks within the Symphonia area. The master plan prioritizes ecological resilience by integrating planting, sustainable water management, and habitat creation, ensuring that the park not only serves people but also fosters biodiversity and environmental health.

One of the key strategies to achieve this vision is the creation of direct connections to the lake. Waterfront promenades are designed as scenic corridors, offering pathways for strolling, jogging, and cycling. These walkways are carefully crafted to bring people closer to the water, creating moments of reflection and leisure while maintaining ecological buffers along the lake’s edge.

Landscape as an Environmental Curtain

Recreational spaces along the lakeshore invite diverse activities for individuals and families alike. Open lawns, viewing decks, and gathering plazas provide flexible areas for community events, outdoor fitness, and informal gatherings. These spaces are designed to be accessible and inclusive, welcoming visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

The landscape concept introduces the innovative idea of an “environmental curtain.” This approach incorporates green elements such as landscaped building façades that frame the architecture around the lake and blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. These green layers are designed to soften the urban environment, enhance visual harmony, and serve important ecological functions such as shading, cooling, and habitat support.

Visually, the environmental curtain creates a stunning backdrop for the architecture and the lake. The lush textures, varying shades of green, and seasonal changes in vegetation bring an artistic quality to the urban landscape. Buildings become part of a living composition, blending harmoniously with the natural elements around the lake.

An Identity and A Lifestyle

The landscape master plan for Symphonia Urban Lake Park aspires to redefine lakefront living in Gading Serpong, setting a new standard for how urban developments can coexist harmoniously with nature. It envisions a destination where the shimmering water of the lake, vibrant green spaces, and the energy of urban life converge to create a unique and memorable experience for residents and visitors alike.

In Symphonia Urban Lake Park, nature is not pushed to the margins but invited into the center of urban living. Carefully designed landscapes, rich with native planting and biodiversity, provide habitats for local wildlife while offering people places to reconnect with the natural world. Walking paths, scenic promenades, and lakeside gathering spaces invite visitors to slow down and savor the tranquil beauty of the water and the surrounding greenery.

In this vision, every element—water, landscape, architecture, and community life—works together in Symphony. The park becomes an identity and a lifestyle, symbolizing Gading Serpong’s commitment to sustainable growth and quality of life.

Symphonia Urban Lake Park stands for what modern urban design can achieve: a place where beauty, functionality, and ecological responsibility are offered in equal measure, creating a legacy that benefits for both people and the the environment.
